Christmas is coming! To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the popular Christmas movie, we are collaborating with Amerton Railway to bring you the ultimate Christmas experience! You will first be welcomed by the famous train conductor and given your ticket, before being welcomed onboard to Amerton Glaze Craze. You will then be given a selection of Christmas items to paint, and once you have chosen you will make your way to your seats to begin the painting in a warm and very festive environment! Once you have finished your painting, you will be served a luxury cup of warm hot chocolate along with a Christmas snack, before heading over to the railway station to board the real Santa Express! On the train you will receive a goody bag, and you will begin your journey to Toyland where Santa will be there to greet you! Each child will then receive a small gift from Santa, and the adults will get a mince pie and small glass of sherry. Soon, you will have to say goodbye to Santa and the train will take you home. Please feel free to come in your (warm) pyjamas/dressing gown for this event to make the experience even more authentic!
This is a ticketed event and pre booking is essential. The session will run from 3:30pm to 5:45pm (approx.) on Sunday 1st December. The staff will be on hand for the full session to spread some festive cheer, and will be happy to help you paint some wonderful festive pieces!
Tickets are paid for in advance and are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
Tickets are £25 per child and include:
* Your golden ticket which you can keep as a souvenir of your experience
* Use of the studio for 1.25 hours
* A cup of luxury hot chocolate
* A Christmas cookie
* Your chosen piece of Christmas pottery (we will have a selection of various Christmas characters for you to pick from!)
* Glazing and firing costs for your pottery are also included
* A train ride on the Amerton Railway Santa Express
* A goody bag on the train
* A gift from Santa
Tickets for adults are £7.50 and include:
* A warm mince pie
* A small glass of sherry
* A train ride on the Santa Express
* Studio use for 1.25 hours should you want to paint something yourself whilst the kids get creative!
If you wish to paint anything on the day you are more than welcome to do so, and this will be paid for on the day. You will also have the opportunity to purchase any hot drinks from the studio during the painting should you wish to do so.
The session will start promptly at 3:30pm so please be sure to arrive on time. Please be sure to book for the number of people that will be attending. Any accompanying adults will have to book in or you will not be able to participate due to limited capacity. Please note our maximum capacity is 20 people for this event.
